In Episode 210 of IKEA Home Tour, the Squad travels to St. Louis to help a teenager who has outgrown her childhood bedroom! 16-year old Annie loves having a bedroom of her own, but she feels like she has outgrown it.
She is challenged by a tiny bed, pink walls, outdated furniture and lack of functional storage for all her belongings. Annie dreams of a simple and calming space that will motivate her to work and be creative. The IKEA Home Tour Squad updated Annie’s space to include the HAUGESUND mattress, with individually wrapped pocket coils so it’s super comfortable, and it comes with a 25 year limited warranty.
The mattress was paired with the HEMNES bed frame, which is made of solid wood, so it’s very durable and it has a timeless look that pairs nicely with your other furniture pieces. To create interest above the bed, the IKEA Home Tour Squad wrapped a fun fabric by the yard from IKEA over a canvas stretcher. The Squad also customized her space by adding an IKEA TARVA 5-drawer chest, painted with a cool pattern. To help with organization, the Squad finished off the space with SKUBB under bed storage and a RÅSKOG utility cart as a makeup organizer.
